The practice, under the continued leadership of Dr Hans van Heerden, offers various services relating to periodontal disease, dental implants, oral medicine and oral hygiene.

Dr van Heerden also leads the Cavendish Dental Implant Centre where dentists are invited to attend training programmes to continue their professional development, through training courses on dental implantology and treatment of periodontal disease. The Cavendish Implant Centre is an accredited CPD provider.

In the same way that a medical doctor will refer a patient to a medical specialist, your dentist will refer you to our practice if he or she believes you need advanced periodontal treatment for gum disease, dental implants or suffer from an oral disease. Many of our patients also visit us for their ongoing oral hygiene needs.

We also offer conscious sedation, administered by an experienced sedationist, giving you comfort and pain relief during more advanced dental procedures.

We endeavour at all times to do treatment as conservatively as possible and in such a way that the patient leaves with their dignity intact.
